Genius Education Centre is one of the non-formal educational institutions located in Pangkalan Bun. Genius Education Centre, commonly referred to as GEN, was established by Mr. Eric Munandar, ST., S.Pd., M.Si. Initially, this educational institution was located on Pakunegara Street and was founded on April 24, 2006. However, in 2011, Genius Education Centre moved to a new building located at Jalan Pangeran Adipati No. 4, Raja Village, South Arut, Pangkalan Bun.
Around 2012, Genius Education Centre introduced a new program. This new program was a one-year competency program named Genius English School. Later, Genius English School’s name was changed to Genius English College in 2015. By 2021, Genius English College had its own new building. However, in 2022, Genius English College changed its name back to Genius College. This change was due to some modifications in the offered courses. Currently, the Genius Education Centre building is only used for course purposes.
